I provide archival consultation and assistance, promoting the work, singular vision and precious outputs of independent collections with the aim of embedding alternative modes of safe-keeping into larger institutional contexts:
2023 - present: I am the instigator of an ongoing search involving the life and work of the Mexican Surrealist artist Froylán Ojeda. I have been cataloguing his œuvre and story, working with institutional and national libraries and collections in Mexico as well as his personal archive.
2024 - present: archival consultation for With and Without Diana, a posthumous collaboration and conversation between Rachelle Francis and her mother Diana uncovering the late Diana Francis’ archive of artwork and textile design. The archive was presented at The Beaney Museum as an exhibition of both Diana and Rachelle’s work and was recently acquired by The Wellcome Collection.
